Our Health Guarantee

Each buyer will receive a copy of the 1-year heath guarantee in their folder we send home with the puppy. Buyer will need to sign and return the original contract prior to or day of picking up the puppy.

We’re so excited to welcome you as new pet owners and share in the joy of having a forever companion in your home! Fleur de Lis Bernedoodles strive for our puppies to be in the best possible health before leaving our home. Our puppies are on a well balanced diet of Pro Pac puppy food and have been checked by a licensed veterinarian who determines when the new puppy is ready to go to their forever home. Our puppies are up-to-date on all vaccinations and de-worming medication as scheduled upon leaving our home.

Upon receiving your new puppy, Buyer has 7 days to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian with proof of examination record submitted to Seller; failure to do so will result in this contract being null and void. We guarantee our puppies from birth to 1 year of age against life threatening congenital or hereditary defects. If the vet concludes the puppy has a life threatening congenital or hereditary defect, the Breeder must be notified within 48 hours of examination with proper documentation submitted to the Breeder. Failure to notify Breeder within 48 hours will result in this contract being null and void. If, for some unexpected reason, the puppy passes away and the cause is unknown, an autopsy must be performed at the owner’s expense to rule cause of death as a congenital or hereditary defect with paperwork from a licensed vet submitted to Breeder within 48 hours. You will have the option of (1) returning the dog for a replacement puppy from the next litter of equal or lesser value, or (2) retain the dog and receive reimbursement for treatment fees by a licensed vet associated only to the defect not exceeding the purchase price of the puppy. Veterinarian checkups and vaccinations must be kept current with proper documentation for this contract to be valid.

The 1-year health guarantee does not include non life-threating or temporary disorders including, but not limited to: intestinal worms, parasites, parvovirus, kennel cough, coccidia, canine distemper, heartworm disease, scabes, fleas, ticks, ear mites, etc. We can also not guarantee the color, coat, size, or temperment of your puppy.

By signing below, you agree to the terms listed above for this contract to be valid. You agree that Fleur de Lis Bernedoodles will not be responsible for any vet cost once the puppy has left our home unless stated in the terms above.
